We love a useful little treasure in our Everyday Château, and know you'll love this one in yours. This petite copper saucepan is all charm: warm copper, a long brass handle, and its own handled lid, with the TOURNUS — FRANCE stamp tucked into the handle where it meets the pan.
At approximately 3½ inches wide and 2 inches high, it is a lovely size for melting a little butter, warming a small sauce, or adding a finishing touch to supper. And when it's resting on a kitchen shelf? Every bit as delightful.

Three simple tips for cooking with tin-lined copper
- Add your butter, oil, or liquid first. Cover the base before turning on the heat; never heat the pan empty.
- Start low. Copper responds quickly. Use low to medium heat, keep this petite pan stable on a suitably sized burner, and avoid high-heat searing.
- Be gentle with the tin. Use wooden or silicone utensils. Let the pan cool, then hand-wash with mild soap and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasives, and use a potholder for the hot handle.
