Description
A tiny village of windmills for your kitchen shelf. This delightfully timeworn set of ten French pantry and spice tins pairs blue windmill scenes with creamy backgrounds and softly faded pale blue-green lids. The decoration has that sweet, Delft-like charm, rendered here on tin.
Our favorite detail? The wonderfully human, handwritten Farine label. Someone made this flour tin their own, and that little touch gives the whole collection a personality no matching new set could offer.
Five larger pantry tins and five smaller spice tins make a charming graduated display. Visible labels include Chicorée (chicory), Poivre (pepper), Cannelle (cinnamon), Laurier (bay leaf), Épices (spices), and Muscade (nutmeg). Arrange them together on a dresser or tuck the smaller tins among your blue-and-white treasures.
